High-end RF power amplifiers from MultiChoice transmitter stations, and the HMI panels that run with them, are being worked on at the HCS bench in Lusaka. Each amplifier is opened, worked through with the manufacturer's service manual and checked on the bench.
Forex, lead time, downtime.
A failed rectifier shipped abroad takes weeks and dollars. On our bench it is diagnosed the day it arrives, repaired, tested at load and returned with a report per serial number.
